I'm a mental health therapist who no longer pretends to know all the answers to your psychological problems and I don’t pride myself on providing you with a "safe space" that can be used to further victimize your lifestyle. I work with you to create new opportunities to confront and reclaim your personhood.
If you want a professional friend to validate the stagnation in your life, go to an app or another mental health directory. If you want to engage with a person who could be the catalyst to your own personal change, then read on.

"Working with Jonathon has truly been life changing."

A Post-Mortem of the Modern Therapy Machine
Most modern therapy is a transaction of comfort. You pay for 50 minutes of nodding, soft voices, and standardized "coping skills" that ultimately function like adult pacifiers.
I have died to that identity. I have shed the "Professional Mask" of the managed-care provider.
What remains is a Clinical Corpse—a shell stripped of clinical delusions, ready to engage in the raw human encounter required for real change.
I am not here to manage your symptoms. I am here to provoke your growth.
This is for the Un-Therapizable
I work with high-achievers, leaders, and executives who are disgusted by the fragility of modern mental health culture.
The Seasoned Leader who is "procrastinating" as a silent rebellion against a system he no longer respects.
The Financial Executive who has mastered the math of money but is bankrupt in his marriage and his soul.
The High-Stakes Professional who is tired of "processing feelings" and wants to start conquering reality.
Traditional therapy can be a "fee-for-service" drain on your capital which can quickly lead to paying for a expnsive subscription that can result in remaining the same version of yourself.
In most managed-care models, the therapist can be incentivized to keep you "in the system" because if you get well, they lose a customer (which can roughly equate to 5% -10% of their daily income).
I do not accept Insurance or rely on ICD-10 codes that require me to label you as being "broken" so a bureaucrat can approve your growth. I refuse to pathologize your potential.
Working with me, you pay for my detachment from your excuses, psychological games and distractions and my commitment to realigning your integrity and values.
High-consequence leadership requires high-consequence honesty. If you are ready to lose your excuses, dont waste whats left of your capital.
No. Traditional therapy often becomes a professionalized friendship where the goal is to feel "supported" while staying exactly the same. This is Symbolic-Experiential Encounter. I am not a passive observer; I am an active participant in your growth. We don't just talk about your life; we bring your life into the room and deal with it in real-time.
Insurance companies operate on a "sickness model." To get paid, I have to label you with a pathology (an ICD-10 code) that stays on your permanent medical record. I refuse to treat your struggle for personhood as a medical "disorder." By staying out of the managed care system, we ensure that your growth is guided by your needs, not by a bureaucrat’s billing requirements.
Most therapy is "horizontal"—you move from one story to the next, analyzing the past until you’re an expert on your own misery. My approach is "vertical." We go deep, fast. If you’ve spent years "processing" without changing, you’ve likely been winning the Battle for Initiative by keeping your therapist at arm's length. I won't let you do that here.
This is a core principle of my work. It means that you must want to grow more than I want you to. I will not be your life coach, your cheerleader, or your nagging parent. If you come to a session to sit in silence and waste your own capital, I will let you. Change only happens when you decide to lead your own life; I am simply the catalyst that makes that decision unavoidable.
Absolutely not. If you are currently in an acute crisis, seeking a professional to agree with your "victim" narrative, or looking for a "safe space" to vent without being challenged, this is not the place for you. This practice is specifically for high-achievers, leaders, and warriors who are tired of the "soft" approach and are ready for a high-consequence encounter with the truth.
